Time to Recalibrate!

Thank God it’s Monday by Jimi Tewe

Time to Recalibrate!

Welcome to another work week and the first of the 3rd month of the year.

Last week, some people were shocked to find out that we have only 10 months left in the year. A fact of life is that the older you grow, the shorter the years become.

It therefore means we need to live our lives intentionally to deliver the results we desire.

Recalibrate… To Reset… To adjust settings.

I came across this word again yesterday and I realised many people need to recalibrate today so that they can achieve their desired goals for 2013.

From time to time, instruments we use (such as scales) need to be recalibrated as constant use tends to lead to wrong readings after a while.

In the same way, as humans, we need to recalibrate our lives whenever we find out that our experiences differ from our desires.

Recalibration requires taking a break from the norm to re-align our pursuits, actions and thoughts to our ‘True North’.

Stress, distractions, unplanned occurrences etc are factors that get us off course where our goals are concerned however taking a break to realign might be just what we need.

You might say, ‘Jimi, its still too early to do this’.

I disagree!

Its a proven fact that a ship that sails off one degree off course could land on another continent if it doesn’t correct its bearing.

I ask you today, are your daily actions aligned to your desires? If NO, then its time to recalibrate!

A few hours; a few days or a few weeks invested in you could be the sacrifice you MUST make to get things right.

I expect that you will make the most of this month! Start by making the most of today! You’ve got a future to deliver!

Remember, you can listen to my podcast by clicking http://hu.lk/pnihdda6jz0g

It’s one way you can start this recalibration!

Do have a wonderful week!
