For Young Ladies- A Free Career Event

Opportunity for Young Ladies!

Hello. I trust your day is going just fine. If you are or you know of a young lady (16-26) who is interested in having an outstanding career, then they need to read this.

It has been on my mind for a while to put together an event for women. You see, our society is not visibly open to encouraging women to stand out in their careers, but the few women who have done this are proof that women ought to become the best God designed them to be.

While I was in New York, I met Yetunde Odugbesan, (listed as one of the top 13 Young African Business/Economic Leaders to watch in 2013 by Ventures Africa). I met at for the first time at a speaking engagement about 2 years ago and I have watched her rise in her field. When I found out she will be in Nigeria next week, I requested she take some time out of her busy schedule to speak to young ladies who also want to stand out in their fields.

Maureen Iyasele (Founder, JobMag) is also another young woman who I met about a year ago. She is someone who is driven, balanced and has achieved tremendous results in the youth empowerment space in Nigeria.
I have also asked her to speak at this event.

Date: Wednesday, Oct 23 (next week)
Time: 10am-2pm
Venue: Conference Room, Kingsword Auditorium, Etal Drive, Firstbank B/stop, Oregun, Ikeja
Fee: 100% FREE

We are looking to host about 100 young ladies. If you are interested, or you know someone who should attend, please get them to register here;

This event is proudly put together by Inspiro Consulting and also supported by Lise Beauty Range, owners of Beauty Overdose Magazine (read some of their articles here

Men, sorry, this is not for you. We’ll do ours some other time.

Now, I need you to help spread the word. Tell ladies you care about, call them, rebroadcast… Let’s make a difference in our world by making a difference in their’s.

Enjoy your day!

  1. Thank you Jimi, great concept. Reminds of the famous saying “train.a boy nd build a family, train a girl and build a nation”. Am highly impressed, but have got a big reservation regardn the age gap, there are hundreds of highly spirited ladies that won’t make this age bracket, they are greatly motivated, constantly inspired. An event of this nature will provide a perfect springboard for such ladies, its gonna be a massive leverage for them. Please kindly extend the age bracket upward by atleast two more years. Thank you for the good work you doing.
